Yoga In the Garden

The Town of Mt. Crested Butte in partnership with the CB Yoga Coop is excited to announce it's second year of Yoga in the Garden!  Join us every Wednesday from June 28 through September 27, 2023 from 12 pm - 1 pm at the Mountain Wedding Garden Pavilion for a FREE community yoga class!  Some supplies will be provided but we encourage you bring your own mat and water bottle!  Please arrive early to allow yourself time to get settled in as class begins promptly at 12 pm.  Donations to CB Yoga Coop are welcome!

Winter Parking Regulations

Mt. Crested Butte winter parking regulations are in full effect! Parking on town roads and rights of way shall not be permitted through April 15, 2023.

Revised Draft Mt. CB Master Plan

The Town of Mt. Crested Butte has published the revised Draft of the Mt. Crested Butte Master Plan.

The Town welcomes public review and comment by Friday, December 9. 

Light Up The Night

Mt. Crested Butte Winter Celebration

Join us on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 4-7 pm at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte for the Annual Light Up The Night Winter Celebration! Free parking is available in the CBMR dirt pay lot after 3 pm and mountain express busses will be running every 15 minutes from the Town of Crested Butte. 

ADMISSIONS TAX GRANT IS NOW OPEN

The Admissions Tax Grant is now open for the fall/winter of 2022-23.

The primary intent of the Admissions Tax Grant is to attract new visitors to Mt. Crested Butte with a measurable return on investment and to increase sales tax revenue for the town while supporting local non-profits and businesses. The town desires to attract new people, as well as encourage repeat visitation to stimulate creativity to develop new events. 

Rec Path Closure

On Tuesday, August 30, GeoStabilization International (GSI) started working on the Rec. Path retaining wall below the Sewer Plant near Mt. Crested Butte and will be through most of September. Pedestrian and bike traffic will be diverted onto CR 317 north of the Meridian Lake turn-off to the sewer plant.
