Join us on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Ted Scheske Park and pavilion for the first annual Mt. Crested Butte Fall Festival!

This free community event features live music from Mama Lingua, and free children's activities including a Pumpkin Patch, Cookie Decorating, Face Painting, and more!  A complimentary bar with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be provided and food will be available for purchase from local food truck favorite, Doughp Pizza!

Parking is limited at the Ted Scheske Park, please bus, bike or walk to the event if you can!

Pickin’ A Food Truck Competition & Festival will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Town of Mt. Crested Butte!

Registration for attendees is free this year and includes live music, children’s activities, food truck competition dishes, and more! Those interested in being a part of the food truck competition and participating in the People's Choice Award voting at this event must select the "Adult Registration WITH Competition Punch Card" option. Alcoholic beverages and additional food items will be available for purchase.  

The Mt. Crested Butte E-bike Rebate Program is a sustainability initiative that aims to promote the use of e-bikes as a means of transportation. The program offers a rebate to Mt. Crested Butte residents who purchase an e-bike with the goal of reducing traffic congestion and promoting environmentally friendly transportation options. By incentivizing e-bike use, the program seeks to contribute to the environmental benefits of reducing carbon emissions and promoting a more sustainable community.

The Town of Mt. Crested Butte in partnership with the CB Yoga Coop is excited to announce it's second year of Yoga in the Garden!  Join us every Wednesday from June 28 through September 27, 2023 from 12 pm - 1 pm at the Mountain Wedding Garden Pavilion for a FREE community yoga class!  Some supplies will be provided but we encourage you bring your own mat and water bottle!  Please arrive early to allow yourself time to get settled in as class begins promptly at 12 pm.  Donations to CB Yoga Coop are welcome!

The Gunnison/Hinsdale Combined Emergency Telephone Service Authority (GHCETSA) is launching a new emergency notification system called Gunnison Regional Alerts, powered by GEM. The new system will officially replace CodeRedon on January 8, 2023.

The Town of Mt. Crested Butte has published the revised Draft of the Mt. Crested Butte Master Plan.

The Town welcomes public review and comment by Friday, December 9. 

Mt. Crested Butte Winter Celebration

Join us on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 4-7 pm at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte for the Annual Light Up The Night Winter Celebration! Free parking is available in the CBMR dirt pay lot after 3 pm and mountain express busses will be running every 15 minutes from the Town of Crested Butte.
