Office of Accessibility

About the Office of Accessibility
The Office of Accessibility works towards compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 while promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities. We coordinate the Town's efforts for ADA implementation and provide information and referral. The Office works cooperatively with advocacy and community-based organizations serving persons with disabilities.

We also work toward compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act by promoting equality to end discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in our programs, services, and activities.

Our Commitment to Accessibility
The Town of Mt. Crested Butte is committed to making its websites accessible to the widest possible audience. We are constantly working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website. We strive to maintain conformance to W3C’s Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and the US. Federal Government Section 508 Guidelines.

Mt. Crested Butte evaluates this site regularly. It will continue to evolve and improve as new technologies and opportunities emerge.
