The Town of Mt. Crested Butte is hosting the second history talk on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 6 pm in Elevation Hotel & Spa.
Titled The Good Ole' Days: A Look Back at MTCB's First 50 Years, Andy Eflin presents an exclusive slideshow made by his father Dick Eflin, Ski Resort Founder; Scout Walton discusses the movement of MTCB's incorporation and the involvement his father, Ralph Walton played; and Ethan Mueller ends the discussion with the Mueller's movement to purchase Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
In addition to this evening of history, The Crested Butte Museum will host a pop-up museum featuring 1973 to present day Mt. Crested Butte artifacts and photos. Light refreshments and one drink coupon per registered attendee will be provided by the town of Mt. Crested Butte.
