The Town of Mt. Crested Butte collects a 4% admissions tax for any event or program that starts or finishes the Mt.CB town limits to be utilized for transportation, marketing, and event sponsorship. If an organization is selling a ticket, charging admissions or registration fees for their program or event, they must collect an additional 4% to be remitted to the Town of Mt. Crested Butte.
If you don't want to utilize our online form, you can fill out the Admissions Sales Tax PDF Form and email it to the finance department at finance@mtcb.colorado.gov and send a check. Otherwise, you can print the application, fill it out and mail it with your check to:
